Dev Blog #4: Kickstarter fun & MEGA MTL!

A lot of people gave us a lot of advice when we started our Kickstarter:

  • If it hits 30% in the first two days, you're good!
  • Your main stream of backers will come in the first and last week!
  • DON'T PANIC!

We listened to the advice, but still, WE'RE PANICKING. Kickstarters are scary! We're still on track to reach our goal, but it can be difficult to keep generating excitement when you're in that period between launching and ending the campaign.

Still, we have Early Bird discounts available - so make sure to check them out while you can!

HERE'S OUR KICKSTARTER YAY

In other news, we just spent the weekend at MEGA MTL, a new and exciting video game expo in our beautiful city. Our booth was right at the entrance, which means we got a LOT of people playing the demo and receiving our lovely art cards (we still have some left, so maybe if you ask nicely, we'll send you some...)

But the biggest news of the weekend was that we WON AN AWARD!!

The MIGF (Montreal Independent Games Festival) awards were held on the Sunday, and the judges were roaming around the room and playing the games that they thought might be eligible for each category. There was Audio Design, Art Design, Audience Choice and Best Narrative...

AND WE WON BEST NARRATIVE!

Here is us, winning Best Narrative!

So, life is pretty good right now, we're still hoping to reach our halfway goal on Kickstarter (we're at about 45% right now!) and we're spending most of the day staring lovingly at our award. We're award-winning!!!

IT'S SO CUTE!!
